HireBelt is an online platform that connects employers seeking temporary or flexible staffing solutions with verified workers. We provide tools for job posting, worker discovery, scheduling, and payment processing. HireBelt acts as an intermediary and is not an employer of the workers on the platform.

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Types

HireBelt offers two types of accounts:

  • Employer Accounts: For businesses seeking to hire workers through the platform
  • Worker Accounts: For individuals seeking work opportunities through the platform

4. Employer Responsibilities

As an employer using HireBelt, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
  • Comply with all applicable employment and labor laws
  • Pay workers promptly for completed work through the platform
  • Provide a safe working environment
  • Not discriminate against workers based on protected characteristics
  • Maintain appropriate workers' compensation and liability insurance
  • Treat workers with respect and professionalism

5. Worker Responsibilities

As a worker using HireBelt, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your skills, experience, and availability
  • Complete the verification process honestly and thoroughly
  • Honor accepted job commitments and arrive on time
  • Perform work to the best of your abilities
  • Communicate promptly with employers about any issues
  • Comply with employer policies and applicable laws
  • Maintain any required licenses or certifications

6. Verification Process

Workers on HireBelt undergo a verification process that may include identity verification, background checks, skills assessments, and reference checks. By using our platform, you consent to these verification procedures. HireBelt strives for accuracy but does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of verification results.

7. Fees and Payment

Subscription Plans

Employers may subscribe to various plans with different features and pricing. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these terms or required by law.

Service Fees

HireBelt may charge service fees for successful placements or transactions. Current fee structures are available on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time with notice to users.

Worker Payments

Workers are paid for completed work according to the agreed rates. Payments are processed weekly through the platform. Workers are responsible for their own tax obligations.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
  • Use the platform for illegal purposes
  • Interfere with the platform's operation or security
  • Scrape or collect user data without authorization
  • Create multiple accounts or impersonate others
  • Post inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the HireBelt platform are owned by HireBelt and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. HIREBELT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY WORKERS OR EMPLOYERS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS, CONDUCT, OR WORK PRODUCT OF USERS. YOU USE THE PLATFORM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIREBELT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireBelt, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against HireBelt.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
